When will golf courses be open in Saskatchewan?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Saskatchewan has mandated that golf courses in Saskatchewan can open on May 15th.
A Golf Course Guideline has been provided for each course to follow.
How does COVID-10 affect playing golf?
Due to the circumstances of COVID-19,
Flowing Springs Golf Greens will not be able to accommodate any golf tournaments until further notice.
We are working hard to adjust our internal systems to accommodate the new guidelines to allow for golfers to enjoy the course this season.

Golfing during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Message from the President of Flowing Springs Golf GreensTo all Flowing Springs golfers …
Thankfully, the Provincial Government has given the okay to begin golfing activities on Friday, May 15, 2020.
These guidelines are extremely restrictive, so, to assist you we have attached a copy of the provincial “GOLF COURSE GUIDELINES” as of May 8th.
We suggest, to fully comprehend the changes Flowing Springs will be implementing, you carefully read the measures all golf courses must comply with in order to open.
Should the “Golf Course Guidelines” change we will adjust our procedures.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
- The 2-meter social distancing, which you are probably used to by now, also applies to anyone while on the golf course property
BOOKING A TEE TIME
- TEE TIMES WILL BE EVERY 10 MINUTES. Weather permitting the golf course will be open at 7:00 am daily. Booking On-Line is now available.
- Bookings by telephone will be available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm beginning May 11th.
- The same booking program as last year (up to one week in advance) will be in effect immediately. There will be NO WALK-ON GOLFERS permitted.
POWER CARTS
- POWER CARTS ARE BACK TO TWO PEOPLE PER PER CART.
- Carts will be previously cleaned and ready but can not be accessed until the cart has been assigned by a staff member at the cart shop.
- Only after the cart has been assigned, signed out, and then sanitized, will the rider be given the okay to drive it away.
- Power carts are to be returned to the cart shop after the round and the renter of the cart must remove all waste and recyclable containers and deposit these items into the containers provided outside the cart shop. This includes used scorecards and all other items.
SCORECARDS
- A scorecard and a pencil will be available from the cart shop attendant.
THANK YOU
Many thanks to Brian Black, President of the “Over 50 League” and Larry Sheffer, President of the ”Men’s Club” for working with us to put forward a plan of operation within the “GOLF COURSE GUIDELINES”
Both Brian and Larry will be following up with you with additional information regarding their respective group. Once you have received all the information should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the undersigned by phone at the pro shop.
Finally, because this is an unprecedented time in our lives and in our businesses, things could change quickly, hopefully, things work out well and the COVID 19 guidelines get relaxed sooner rather than later, but whatever adjustments or changes materialize, with respect to course operations and Provincial direction, we will advise you along the way.
Thank you for your support and understanding. All of us at Flowing Springs will do our best to keep you safe while golfing in these most challenging times.
Sincerely,
Loney Anderson
